👋What is Quantiment?
Quantiment is a crypto market intelligence platform. It pulls live price data, on-chain metrics, social sentiment and whale activity, then condenses everything into clear signals so you don't have to stare at five charts and ten dashboards.
Three things we do well:
- Tell you the current state of the market — bullish, bearish, or coiling for a move.
- Give you setups with entry, stop and target — for both short-term scalps and longer swings.
- Flag risk before it bites — overheat warnings, regime shifts, drawdown alerts.
🗺How should I use the platform day-to-day?
A simple daily routine:
- Morning (2 min): Open Signals. Read the overall verdict at the top. Note the swing & scalp bias.
- Before any trade: Check Should I Trade? — it gives you a green/yellow/red light on whether market conditions favor any trading at all.
- Hunting opportunities: Use Market Scanner for short-term setups, or Narratives for sectors that are heating up.
- Position sizing: Run your portfolio through Analyse Portfolio to check concentration and correlation.
- After every trade: Log it in the 3:3:1 Journal. Three months in, you'll see your real edge — and your real leaks.
🎯What does each color/verdict mean?
Every panel that shows a verdict also shows confidence (how strongly the data supports it) and signal count (how many independent indicators agree). Higher numbers = stronger setup.
⚡Signals Free
The main dashboard. Everything you need to read the market in 30 seconds. Below is every panel you'll see when you open this tab — with live mockups so you know exactly what to look for.
⏳Long Term Free
The macro view. Built for investors holding weeks to months, not minutes.
- NUPL Cycle Position: Where Bitcoin sits in its profit/loss cycle. The single most reliable cycle gauge there is.
- Long-term trend filters: Above/below 200-day moving averages, structural support/resistance.
- Cycle phase: Accumulation, markup, distribution or markdown.
🔍Analyse Portfolio Pro
Paste your holdings (or connect an exchange) and Quantiment audits them.
- Concentration risk: Are you 80% in one coin?
- Correlation: Are your "5 different coins" all just BTC betas in disguise?
- Sector exposure: How much L1, DeFi, AI, memes you actually hold.
- AI feedback: Plain-language critique with specific suggestions.
🏗Build Portfolio Pro
The opposite of Analyse — start from a goal (e.g. "balanced large-cap with some upside") and Quantiment proposes weights and tickers based on current market regime.
🔌Connect Exchange Pro
Read-only API connection to your exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.). We never ask for trading or withdrawal permissions. Once connected, your live balances flow into Analyse Portfolio automatically.
📑Research Free
Paste any institutional report (JP Morgan, BlackRock, Glassnode, Fed minutes) and our AI extracts the key points, market implications and conviction level — saves you 30 minutes of skimming.
Also includes a directory of the most-trusted research sources we follow.
🔥Narratives Free
Crypto money rotates between narratives — AI tokens, memes, RWAs, DePIN, gaming, etc. This page tracks which sectors are gaining attention right now based on price momentum, social mentions and trading volume.
Hot narrative + early entry = where the asymmetric returns live.
🔭Market Scanner Pro
Real-time hunter for setups before the move:
- 💎 Stealth accumulation: Flat price + steadily rising volume = big players quietly loading up.
- 🔥 5m volume ignition: Sudden volume spike on the 5-minute candle.
- 🎯 Range compression: Bollinger Bands tightening — coil before the snap.
Already-pumped coins are filtered out so you don't chase tops.
🚀On-Chain Launchpad Pro
The deep-on-chain page:
- Smart Money: Wallets with documented edge — when they buy, you'll know.
- Whale flows: Large wallet movements across ETH, SOL, BSC, Base, Polygon.
- New token launches with early-stage liquidity health checks.
🚦Should I Trade? Pro
A simple go / slow / no-go light. It checks BTC trend, breadth (how many alts are healthy), Fear & Greed and 30-day volatility. If three of four are bad, the answer is "stand aside today" — and that's the most profitable trade most days.
🧠Mindset Hub + Psychology Coach Pro
Mindset Hub is the Performance Process Cycle — short, structured drills covering pre-market prep, in-trade discipline and post-session review.
Psychology Coach is an AI you can talk to when you've just made a bad trade and need to reset before doing something stupid. It won't tell you you're a genius — it'll tell you what you actually did wrong.
📔3:3:1 Journal Pro
The most underrated tool in the platform. After every trading session, log:
- 3 things that went well
- 3 things to improve
- 1 commitment for tomorrow
After ~30 entries, the AI insights tab surfaces your repeating patterns: "You lose money 80% of the time you trade between 3pm and 5pm Friday." That's edge you can't get anywhere else.
🔁Bayesian Probability
The headline number on the platform. "Bayesian" just means: we start with a base probability of an up move, then update it with every new piece of evidence (RSI, MACD, volume, on-chain flows, etc.). Each indicator gets a weight based on its historical reliability.
How to read it:
> 70%— strong bullish odds. Setups have wind at their back.40–60%— coin-flip. Be selective.< 30%— strong bearish odds. Either short or stay flat.
🔗Confluence (Signal Count)
Confluence = how many independent indicators agree. A "3 of 8 bullish" verdict is weaker than "7 of 8 bullish," even if both technically say "buy."
The grid below the count shows you exactly which indicators voted bull vs. bear so you can sanity-check the verdict yourself.
🎯Compression Score (Breakout Detector)
Measures how tight price is coiling. Combines Bollinger Band width, ATR contraction and range tightness into one 0–100 score.
> 75— coil is loaded. A move is imminent (could be either direction).30–60— normal volatility.< 30— already moving / no setup forming.
🌡Volatility Regime
The market behaves differently depending on its regime:
- Low-vol: Calm, range-bound. Mean-reversion strategies work; breakouts often fail.
- Normal: Trends and ranges both viable.
- High-vol: Wild swings. Cut size, widen stops, or stand aside.
Mean-revert. Tight ranges.
Trends & ranges both work.
Cut size or stand aside.
The platform auto-adjusts its signal weights based on the current regime — you don't need to do anything, just be aware why a setup might be flagged less aggressively in chop.
📊RSI — Relative Strength Index
Measures momentum on a 0–100 scale.
> 70— overbought. Price has run hard; pullback risk rising.< 30— oversold. Selling exhausted; bounce possible.50— neutral.
The real signal: RSI divergence. If price makes a new high but RSI doesn't, momentum is fading — top warning. The reverse for bottoms.
📈MACD — Moving Average Convergence Divergence
Shows the relationship between two moving averages of price.
- Bullish cross: MACD line crosses above signal line → upward momentum starting.
- Bearish cross: opposite → downward momentum starting.
- Histogram: the bars — taller = stronger momentum.
Best used as a trend confirmation tool, not a standalone trigger.
〰️EMA / SMA — Moving Averages
The average price over the last N candles. EMA weights recent candles more; SMA treats them all equally.
- Price above 200-day MA = long-term uptrend (rule of thumb: be a buyer).
- 50-day above 200-day ("Golden Cross") = strong bullish structure.
- 50-day below 200-day ("Death Cross") = strong bearish structure.
📏Bollinger Bands
Two bands plotted 2 standard deviations above and below a 20-period moving average. They expand when volatility rises and contract when it falls.
- Squeeze: bands tighten → big move incoming (this feeds the Compression Score).
- Tag the upper band: price is stretched; reversion likely (in calm markets).
- Tag the lower band: oversold; bounce candidate.
📐ATR — Average True Range
The average size of recent candles. ATR doesn't tell you direction — only how big a typical move is. We use it to:
- Set stop losses that respect normal noise (e.g. 1.5× ATR below entry).
- Detect volatility expansion/contraction.
📊Volume & OBV
Volume = how many coins changed hands. Price moves on rising volume are more trustworthy than the same move on thin volume — there's actual conviction behind them.
OBV (On-Balance Volume) adds volume on up-candles and subtracts it on down-candles, building a running total. If OBV is climbing while price is flat, accumulation is happening quietly — a classic stealth-buy signature.
📉VWAP — Volume-Weighted Average Price
The "true average price" — weighted by how much volume traded at each level. Big institutions use VWAP to benchmark execution quality.
- Price above VWAP = bullish for the session.
- Price below VWAP = bearish for the session.
- Traders often add to longs on retests of VWAP from above.
😱Fear & Greed Index
A 0–100 sentiment gauge built from volatility, momentum, social posts, surveys and BTC dominance.
0–25— Extreme Fear. Historically, the best long-term buy zone.25–55— Neutral / cautious.75–100— Extreme Greed. Tops are made here. Time to take profit.
⛓NUPL — Net Unrealized Profit/Loss
The on-chain gold standard. NUPL measures whether the average BTC holder is in profit or loss, based on the price each coin last moved at.
It maps directly to cycle phases:
< 0— Capitulation. Generational buy zones. Last seen Nov 2022, March 2020.0 – 0.25— Hope / Recovery.0.25 – 0.5— Optimism.0.5 – 0.75— Belief / Denial.> 0.75— Euphoria. Cycle top zone. Take chips off the table.
🐋Whale Flows / Smart Money
Wallets with very large balances (or wallets we've documented as historically profitable) are tracked in real time. When they accumulate, it often precedes a move — they have information advantages, network access and time horizons retail doesn't.
Use whale activity as confirmation, not a standalone trigger. A whale can be early by months.
0xA3..F71d bought $2.1M PEPE📊ETH/BTC Ratio
The price of ETH measured in BTC. Tells you whether risk appetite is rotating into alts or back to BTC safety.
- ETH/BTC rising → altseason conditions strengthening.
- ETH/BTC falling → BTC dominance increasing; alts bleed.
🛡Position Sizing — The 1% Rule
The single most important rule in trading: never risk more than 1% of your account on a single trade.
If your account is $10,000, your max loss per trade is $100. Calculate position size from your stop:
Position size = Risk per trade ÷ (Entry − Stop)
This is the difference between losing 10 trades in a row and being down 10% (survivable) vs. down 50% (career-ending).
📐Risk:Reward — Why Below 2:1 Isn't Worth It
Every Quantiment setup comes with an entry, stop and target. The ratio between potential reward and potential loss is your R:R.
- 2:1 — minimum. You can be wrong half the time and still profit.
- 3:1+ — ideal. Even at 40% win rate, you compound.
- Below 2:1 — unless you have a very high win rate, math eats you alive.
🧠The Psychology Side
The biggest gap between an okay trader and a great one isn't strategy — it's execution under pressure. Common mistakes Quantiment is built to help you avoid:
- FOMO entries: chasing after a 20% move because you missed the start. Use the Scanner / Narratives before the move.
- Revenge trading: doubling size after a loss to "get it back." The Psychology Coach exists for exactly this moment.
- Moving stops: letting a -2% become -15% because "it'll come back." Your stop is your stop. Period.
- No journal: repeating the same mistake every month because you don't track patterns. The 3:3:1 Journal fixes this.
📖The Vocabulary
- Spot — buying the actual coin, no leverage.
- Long — betting price will go up. Short — betting it'll go down.
- Swing trade — held days to weeks. Scalp — held minutes to hours. Position trade — held weeks to months.
- Support — price level where buyers historically step in. Resistance — where sellers do.
- Breakout — price clears resistance with conviction. Breakdown — opposite.
- Pullback — small counter-trend move within a larger trend.
- Liquidity — how easily you can buy/sell without moving price. Thin liquidity = wider slippage.
- Stop loss — order that closes your trade at a defined loss to protect capital.
- Take profit (TP) — order that closes your trade at a target.
- Drawdown — peak-to-trough loss. The number that matters most for survival.
- Altcoin — any crypto that isn't Bitcoin. Altseason — period when alts outperform BTC.
- Dominance (BTC.D) — Bitcoin's share of total crypto market cap. Falling dominance → alts gaining.
- Funding rate — fee paid between long and short perp traders. Extreme positive = crowded longs (squeeze risk).
